I was looking for a Bharatnatyam teacher for a while in NY LI area. Mrs Hamsini is a teacher who understands the nuances of classical dance and teaches it in the most simple manner to the kids. She is very compassionate and takes time to teach each individual kid. She is probably the only dance teacher who exposes very young kids to stage shows to boost their confidence. Dance is an art form of creativity and she is an expert at it. My daughters have been with her for a while and we are extremely happy with the dance progress.

She breaks down the steps and explains it so the students can understand easily and follow. She is very passionate about her craft as it shows in her teaching method.
